Development Board Recommends Against Tourist Zoning

At the meeting on March 18th, the Clearwater Community Development Board voted to recommend that City Council deny the request to have a ”T” designation. Now it is up to Council, which meets Thursday night, March 20th, at 7 PM. Sand Key residents are encouraged to attend.

    does anyone know what the vote split was? was there any explanation? this is good news!

    The vote was 4 to 2 against. There is a good article in this morning’s St. Pete Times.
